Tikinagan is accountable to the public and communities we serve. As one of our nine values, Tikinagan is committed to excellence and dependability in all aspects of service delivery. The Ontario legislature passed the Broader Public Sector Accountability Act in 2010. The act establishes rules and accountability standards for public organizations funded by government.

Children’s aid societies are one of the sectors subject to this act. Tikinagan Child and Family Services is designated as a children’s aid society under the Child, Youth and Family Services Act. For details about the directives, following the links to the Ontario Ministry of Finance website:
