Posted: April 7th, 2017

Students from Pelican Falls First Nations High School (PFFNHS) and their guests from Toronto visited Tikinagan and other offices around Sioux Lookout on Thursday, April 6 as part of a scavenger hunt. The students at PFFNHS are currently participating in the YMCA Youth Exchange program with students from Toronto.

The exchange program involves 15 Toronto students who are staying in Sioux Lookout for five days and spending their time with students at PFFNHS. On April 25, 15 PFFNHS students will take the trip to spend five days in Toronto. The purpose of the exchange is for youth to visit other schools in Canada and explore our culturally diverse country.

The scavenger hunt led the 30 students around Sioux Lookout where they had to drop by and get information about different organizations, including getting a signature from someone representing Tikinagan, and taking a selfie. Representing Tikinagan was Judy Angeconeb, Assistant Director of Services.
