All staff are encouraged to attend every Wednesday for a brief, sometimes informal, weekly in-session learning.  Topics will include: Health & Safety, IT Tips, language and culture teachings, Internal procedures, 2SLGBTQ+, fun events, and more!

On April 1, 2023, the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services launched a new directive “Preparing Youth for Successful Transition from the Care of Children’s Aid Societies” also known as “Ready, Set, Go”.

Tikinagan is implementing a new incentive program for all Health and Safety Representatives that have participated as members for three consecutive years (36 months).

Effective April 1, 2023, the agency will be increasing rates related to expenses for children in care and daily meal allowances.

Please be advised that our agency’s Children in Extended Society Care review will commence on June 5, 2023.

A memo was sent last year advising staff to report back to the office starting November 7, 2022. Effective April 24, 2023, all staff will report to working in the office. Remote work is no longer available.
